TRANSCLEAN Sp. z o.o. was founded in 1993 by ZACHEM S.A (formerly Zakłady Chemiczne Zachem) and Centrala Importowo-Eksportowa Chemikaliów Ciech sp. z o.o. (today CIECH SA). Each of the companies owns 50% of shares. From the very beginning, our company has been providing local and international transport services of chemical products together with tank cleaning services for semi-trailers, road and rail containers and other types of tanks. Since 2007 TRANSCLEAN has been also engaged in the field of transportation and forwarding of polyurethane foam and other spatial cargos.

Our company puts significant emphasis on the quality of the services that we provide, in which way we watch over the trust and cooperation that bonds our Customers to us. As a proof of our dedication to improving the quality of transport and tank cleaning services we positively went through several audits resulting in obtaining ISO 9001:2000, SQAS Road, SQAS Cleaning and many other branch-specific certificates. Due to the fact that ZACHEM S.A. was bought by CIECH S.A. in December 2006, our company has become a subsidiary of Grupa Kapitałowa CIECH S.A. Effective strategy of CIECH S.A. gives TRANSCLEAN a significant position in the structure of CIECH. In the second half of 2007 our company took over most of the transportation services in the Organic Division of CIECH S.A. (complete car transport provision for ZACHEM S.A and Zakłady Chemiczne "Organika-Sarzyna" S.A.) and will become a main logistical operator within Grupa Chemiczna CIECH S.A. in years 2008 – 2009.
